Jr. J.A.M.
Jr. J.A.M. is a ministry for students in grades 6-8. We meet in the loft at FRC on Wednesday nights from 6:30p.m. – 8:00p.m. J.A.M. stands for "Jesus Among Many" and our purpose is to “Know Christ and to make Him known.” To do this we desire to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ. J.A.M. gives students the opportunity to be involved in small groups, worship, biblical teaching, accountability, and fellowship with other students their age.
56eleven
56eleven is a ministry for high school students to partake in worship, small groups, Bible studies, accountability, and Christ honoring relationships with other students and leaders. 56eleven meets on Sunday evenings from 6:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. in The Loft at First Reformed Church.
The Connection
The Connection is for grades 6-12 and meets at 9:30a.m. Sunday mornings. The Connection is a collaboration of small groups that meet throughout the church. We gather every Sunday in The Loft to get together and give an overview of what is happening for the week. Then we split in to our groups and continue in our Bible studies. We have started at Genesis 1 and will go through the whole Bible over the next few years.
What Is Our Purpose???
Purpose: To know Christ and to make Him known!!!
First Reformed Church and all the ministries that fall under their care, exist for the purpose of bringing the lost to Christ. Our purpose is, “To know Christ
and to make Him known.”
We desire for students who have a relationship with Christ to grow and be challenged in their faith. It is our job to equip them with the tools they need and to be a
beacon of light to the darkness that consumes this world.
We also exist to reach out to those students who do not have a relationship with Jesus Christ. We desire to be able to provide a safe haven for these students who simply need people
to love and listen to them. It is imperative that we listen to the needs of the students and share the love of Christ with them. It is our job to be the hands and feet of Christ.
We need to begin to disciple these students, so that they may come to know Christ and also be able to reach out to their peers.
The Great Commission
Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:16-20
